Sammy is an experienced presenter and audio producer who has worked for some of the biggest radio shows and podcasts in the world.
Sammy's love of radio started when he was a teenager and at 18 he decided to turn it into a career. He started off volunteering at Redhill's Hospital radio station before joining Leeds Student Radio whilst at university.
At LSR, he eventually became programme controller of the station, and was awarded "Best Male Presenter" at the 2015 student radio awards.
This lead to him getting his first job in the radio industry at Absolute Radio, and from there he moved to Kiss FM where he was assistant breakfast producer with Rickie, Melvin and Charlie. After leaving Kiss, Sammy stayed with Rickie, Melvin and Charlie, and he helped launch their brand new weekday evening show on BBC Radio 1.
Since then Sammy has predominantly worked as a freelancer. His credits include being a regular producer of Guardian Football Weekly, the Official FPL Podcast for the Premier League and he also is a producer for Scott Mills and Chris Stark's Saturday show on BBC 5 Live.
Meanwhile, Sammy's love of Fulham Football Club has run side-by-side with his career. After working as a presenter for the club's official commentary output for a season, in 2016 he founded Fulhamish, an independent podcast and fan media outlet all about the club. The podcast has had 1.5 million listens, and was awarded Club Podcast of the Year at the 2019 FSA Awards.
